Create an invoiceWhy invoices for Oman come out wrong
The Omani Rial has 1,000 baisa to the unit — three decimal places, not two. Most invoicing tools round it to two, so the total on the document no longer matches the contract, and it shows up in audit.
- VAT is preset to 5%, the rate published by the Oman Tax Authority.
- Phone numbers, IBANs and dates reverse themselves inside Arabic text in most tools, because Latin runs aren't isolated from the surrounding direction.
- Amount in words, which most finance departments in the Gulf require, is generated in both Arabic and English.
What's on the document
- Your business name in both languages, logo, VAT and CR numbers.
- Unlimited line items, each with an Arabic and an English description.
- Subtotal, discount, VAT and total due.
- Payment details, a signature block, saved documents and a client book.
- A4 PDF export, ready to print or send.
